Thank you, Michael. I share this response. Now I'll have to check out the Morrow and McQuay books/(stories?). Good to know of them.
Michael, I tend to enjoy sf least when the people are not as well characterized as the machinery. Some of the sf I've seen, the *non-intelligent* space ships are better characterized than the people within them.
