I love your interpretation, Ann. It somehow hits very close to home with me. I'm the guy that would always choose the Richard Parker version. Trying to see the world in the beautiful, thou maybe a bit less likely version, is what drives me. I'm not religious, but I think on some level I do have faith in something and I think every person who has ever taken a chance, does. That's why it's call 'a leap of faith', because you believe in a positive outcome even thou it's not certain it will come.
