I think I may need to read more in this genre. I believe the biggest draw for me was the not knowing. There was nothing predictable about this book. I'm only about 10% into the second one, so I still don't know for sure where it's going to end up and how!

I thought Seduced was one of the best written books in this genre that I have ever read. I loved the way the perspective was changed often, but never became confusing. And the way the story was told mostly in flashback, but again I never felt confused by it. The twisted nature of their relationship felt very believable to me, unlike many other books like this. All in all, I have to say this is one of my favorite series so far. I have not yet read Consequences and Truth, but they are on my list to read soon. I've heard good things about them. Have you read Comfort Food? That was another very weird, but well written story. If you liked Dark Duet, then you should try Comfort Food.
