Yes looking for something similar - that I am trying too. But nothing can compare to the Dark Duet. If you'd like to try something too though I recommend Held by Edeet Ravel - a character with a dark past and a sole purpose in mind (similar to Caleb but in a different way). And Screaming in the Silence - where I appreciated that in the end he turned himself. These book are not perfect but it is the closest to the Dark Duet that I have come across. If you know of anything else, let me know:)
I did get Screaming in the Silence and liked it too. I will check out Held-thanks for the recommendation.
The Lonely by Tara Brown is awesome too. I just finished it and was very sad that it ended.
LOVED Comfort Foot. Also try Mercy. Forgot the authors name but its good and along these lines.

Also try "The Tied Man" by Tabitha McGowan. Dark, brutal but so well written the reader becomes part of the story.
