I do have a shelf with "Capture" themes, but most of them are more romantic than Captives in the Dark. The closest I've found is Comfort Foodby Kitty Thomas has the sinister feel of Captives and isn't as romantic, although there is clearly a relationship that develops.
I have to second Comfort Food. That book blew my mind.
