Donnie Marsh It's truly a beautiful feeling. I'm so glad if you're experiencing this!

Marta Sprout I can write 250,000+ words or about three novels per year along with a handful of shorts. First novel took 2 years. Second 1 year. I went through a period where I wrote ten novels in 2 years, but my health suffered. Now I pace myself. The more I write, the easier and quicker it becomes. I've been told by so many successful writers that the most important thing is to write, read, write more, and then keep at it. I think they were right.

Paul Read Really impressive time schedule. That amount of output would empty me completely :)

William Torgerson For me, it's hard to see a book as "finished" until it is published. I just have to abandon it for a bit and I always want to come back and at least tinker until it is "out there."

Michael "A book is never finished, only abandoned." But my first drafts of a novel take about 5-8 days to write, but then there are many months of revision, additions, subtractions, etc., before it's ready to show to anyone.

Aaron Jinks It took me about seven months to finish this one.
