Interesting. Thanks for good vibes. Battle Cry is somewhere in the middle in terms of the books of his I liked. Which other books of his did you get a chance to read?

I can definitely see how if you're interested in the characters he writes about, then there isn't much point in reading his books. Yeah, some history can be learned, but his characters are the central focus of his books.

My favorite of favorites book by Leon Uris is QBVII. I have read and reread this book and loved it every time.

QB VII is very good. A little disturbing at times and unsettling in its details but very good book.
