I agree with you completely!!! The animal being tortured was the clincher for me that he did it! Loved this book!
Guilty of being an unlikeable snot...?......yep. Walked out of this movie at about page 130. I didn't care what happened to any of the main characters and, consequently, couldn't force myself to slog through another 200 pages of drama.
yes I agree his lack of emotion during the trail told it all for me he just didn't care during the whole book.
