That might be why I didn't enjoy the book as much as others do.
I am also addicted to the series...we have all the books in audio...so listen to them as we travel...even more exciting!

Jewel - I love both authors though Michael Connelly is my favorite & I feel a better writer. I would go on his website to get the full list of his books & read them in chronological order. He has great character development that you'd miss otherwise. also he has several series & he has had characters from one series show up in a stand alone or anther of his series. Now , about James P's Murder Club mysteries - I love them too. Really like Lindsey but also like the team of women friends who are professionals working together. Personally, I'd say read the ALL!! I have!!
