I know I am probably one of the only people who don't love tfios, but I didn't think the book was that sad. Reason 1: I did not think that the book was realistic. Now I know what you are thinking, "Cancer is real! Why are you so insensitive?" I am well aware that cancer is very real, I just think that their relationship escalated way to fast. Also, the characters just seemed to perfect. I am not talking about their health, but their personalities. Augustus Waters and his whole cigarette thing but it doesn't kill him, I mean what kind of teenager actually thinks about stuff like that. In all, even though the main plot is realistic, it just did not give me the feel to fall in love with the characters and feel sad when they died. wow, okay, sorry if I ranted here, please don't get offended. I just wanted to voice my opinion. I am sure you enjoyed the book, and for that I envy you.
