I think a follow up would be wonderful for this story.
I found this book a hard read..... Meaning it was hard for me to keep reading it... However..... the end made it all worth it.. a Sequel?? Nah... But I do love the idea of making this a movie!

I really enjoyed the book, although it took a bit of getting in to. I felt the story was closed off nicely - although a bit too obvious. I tend to like the twists that Nicholas Sparks puts into his stories, but thought this one was a bit straight forward.
I agree , I'd like to see a sequel. I wish he would start a series.
