I was fortunate to win an advance copy from Goodreads. Loved it! Descriptions of that part of England were superb, characters were relatable and well-drawn. The story was engaging from the first page. I also learned a great deal about the shocking life-changing physical and mental results of injuries suffered by those who served in World War I.
