I am a fan of Regency romance novels, emphasis on romance. I've bought several Regencies lately with wonderful characters and sparkling dialogue, and then boom! Graphic sex scenes abound. I'm sure this is the Bridgerton Effect. Is there any way to tell? I've seen so many books listed I'd like to read, but I prefer the sex off stage, behind closed doors, or none at all -- just romance. Should today's Regency novels come with a warning label?
