Update:

I've decided to share my entire novel online for free for two reasons.

First, in talking with folks at events, I’ve discovered they are hesitant to buy Animals Are People due to concerns it may be preachy or moralistic. It’s not.

Second, early feedback is encouraging (e.g., “I finally read the chapter of Animals Are People you shared with me. I liked it so much I bought the book and am on chapter 4. I’m going to encourage [my son] to read it when I am done.”).
