I told you that series rocked! Lots of world depth and character depth that I just wanted to stay in that world! Sometimes I wish there were more books in the series! LOL Maybe a spin-off series would be cool! :)

Sally So, weekend equals beer, pizza and reading until too late o'clock because I can. Gotta hide eggs for the child on Sunday, eat a bunch of chocolate and read some more!

message 6: by Sea (new)

Sea Caummisar I'm in bed reading. Strange story. I post a lot of freebies in a FB group, so many books go on my GR TBR from Amazon free purchases. A couple weeks back, an author reached out to me because his book was on my TBR, telling me he was pushing updates for the story through Kindle, and to hold off on reading it. Well, I got the okay to read it, and I'm all about indies and underdogs. Anyhoo, I'm pleasantly surprised by how good Ratstrike is. So I'm reading that

Felina Happy Easter!

I've been reading all morning and then we have easter egg hunts later with the child. I'm in Utah and it's a little chilly. I'm needing some spring weather!

Sending you sun from South Carolina. It's pretty toasty outside today so the kid had to find eggs fast before the chocolate inside melted.

message 25: by Felina (new)

Felina It's 50 here. Good for chocolate, bad for my soul. But at least it's sunny. It freakin' snowed on Wednesday. Gross!

Oh ew! Not a fan of snow, grew up in Indiana and I had enough. 50 degrees is not enough degrees.

The plan is to move to Florida in the next year or so. My brother is there and my immediate family and my parents are sick of winter. We'll soon be neighbors!

Felina @Marie - the Tampa area. My brother is in Seminole.

message 40: by Felina (new)

Felina We had burgers and dogs for Easter. My aunt made a pasta salad and she was so worried everybody would hate it so we all ate it and acted like it was the best but it was seriously trash. The BBQ was good though.

Marie Felina wrote: "@Marie - the Tampa area. My brother is in Seminole."

I know where that area is actually - it is in Pinellas county - it is about 40 minutes from where I live. Not really considered Tampa. I have been through that area on the way to Madeira Beach.

You will be close to all the beaches! Nice! You will never be cold again! Oh and there is no snow whatsoever! Sun and Sand! :)

:O I feel like Kevin Hart in that commercial, whhaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttt?!

message 43: by Felina (new)

Felina Yeah, my brother is in Seminole but that is too expensive for us. We'll likely be in a Tampa suburb. We're humble folks. I'd just like no snow and to be able to see my brother more than twice a year. Also, Disney World cause I'm one of those embarrassing Disney adults.

Cool! There are a lot of great places to live around the Tampa area.

Disney World is awesome! Been there quite a few times years and years ago. Tampa has its own theme park. We have Busch Gardens here in Tampa.

I'd love to go back to Disney World. A co-worker of mine is there right now and from what he told me prior to leaving on the pricing of some things now, it's pretty crazy.

message 48: by Felina (new)

Felina Yeah, it is not cheap. We went in April last year when they were still only doing half capacity for Covid. It was pretty great. Still expensive but I got this awesome deal on one of the resorts with the little sky ride that takes you too the different parks so you don’t have to deal with parking. We hit up a few Disney parks and did Universal then went down to visit my brother. I love theme parks. I’ve heard of Busch Gardens but haven’t been. Isn’t it a lot of big rollercoasters? My son is only 6 and a little short for his age so we haven’t checked it out yet just cause he might not be able to ride much but when he gets a little older or taller, whichever happens first, we’ll go there too.

There is good news for Disney World lovers but only if you "live" in Florida. Florida residents are discounted to get into Disney World. Plus there are discounts for staying at their hotels. But only if you live here and can show proof of residence. So that will work for you Felina when you all move here. :)

As far as Busch Gardens - yeah there are lots of roller coasters but they also have exotic animals and they have safari/animal tours, plus some other things to do in the park. I think they might have a children's area for rides - I am not sure. Plus they do Florida resident discounts as well.

Sally Good morning everybody! Currently at the place they pay me to come to every day! Boo! My first patient of the day re-scheduled so I wanted to come say hey before things get crazy. Hope everyone has a great day!
