Steven Sarafian Recently I was posed the question: What 3 books would you take if you were to be stranded on a desert island? (with the clarification 'apart from the Bible, a complete Shakespeare, and The Big Book of Ship Building') and I had to say that, judging by what I reread most often, the first two would have to be The Curse of Chalion and Captain Vorpatril's Alliance.

Alex Shrugged Great Courses are also available in audio which can be mentioned on Goodreads. My library has a good list of them and one can buy them from Great Courses as well. (FYI, I am not associated with Great Courses at all. I am simply a satisfied listener.)

Scott Just to chime in, thanks again for the T Kingfisher recommendation. I just finished Swordheart and Paladin's Grace. I enjoyed them so much that I need to decide what to go for next but it looks like she's a wide ranging author. Anyway, those two were a perfect fit for the Covid blues. Many, many thanks for the recommendation!
