Well, the Blythe thing I hope is just a "little" haunt, No where in the book does it mention 'when' Blythe finds out she can not have children- or how much time passed from losing her baby till her mothers trial. If she had horrific internal damage she would have been in the hospital a long time. Scar tissue forms at a much slower rate and is diagnosed later, Her mother 'may' have been dead already. Besides... the Aunts were all there influencing the Judge. Just my take on it. Not a big deal.
