Have to agree with the statement. It's very hard to afford the books offered by the big publishers. Not just yours but others like J.R. Ward and similar have prices I just can't afford. I wait for library to get them or just do without sadly. Rough but $15 or more a book is just not in the budget.
On a side note, not being able to get my favorite authors i tend to open my options up to new or different ones I havent read before.

I just wish they would finally acknowledge that an e-book should be cheaper than a regular physical book, they dont have to print it.

I frequently recommend Christine Feehan books (Ghostwalkers, Dark, Leopard) books to my library (and put my name on the reserve list). I own all of the Shadow, Sisters of the Heart and Torpedo Ink. I have also bought some of the other series when I could not get them from the library (love e-books).

I first came across one of Christine’s book in my Local Library. Then as they say I was hooked.
When things were a little tough back when we bought our home here, I would buy second hand from one of the Book shops online.
I love to hold a book, so rarely do I read online.

Perhaps if people would donate their books of these series to their local library, you might see the books on the shelves and if popular the library may continue to expand the series. I noticed that when I donated a few bags of books to make space in my private library shelves that quite of few of my books got added to the shelves. It depends on the library and the types of books most requested by the clientele.
