My mother tongue is German and I can write in it if I want to. But I’ve lived on Vancouver Island for 43 years so English is my preferred language. Occasionally I do have to ask my native speaker husband for some clarification...,
That's amazing! I tried to learn German but kept getting it mixed up with Flemish, so I gave up. If we don't practice languages regularly they tend to fade away. The key is to keep travelling! :)
