I'm curious to know if that was a contractual provision you negotiated with or agreed with and do you know if that is an industry standard now, or depending upon the particular publisher? Thank you for your time in answering my inquiry.
I knew up front that my publisher (A-Pub) would be focusing on selling e-book, print, and audio versions of my books. It wasn't part of the negotiations at all, but more an understanding of their business model.
