I'm thrilled to hear that this is at least "in consideration". I agree that the RR are a gem, and you hate to fracture that in any way. I will say, though, that I believe your writing skills just keep getting better. If you are ever going to be at a point where a continuation past RR would make sense it seems like it would be when the tail has come all the way around to reach the head. Stephen King at one point went back and went through The Stand again, adding and editing a bit with his more finely tuned skills. Perhaps that would even be a consideration with RR.

Great news that you are considering a sequel to Riyria!!! Please consider not too far into the future where Royce is still around and Hadrian is gone. In the original, I always felt that it was Hadrian that led to Royce’s redemption. Royce can return the favor by assisting a wayward Hadrian’s grandson.
