message 5: by Elisabeth (new)

Elisabeth I was thinking Sage is more Slytherin

Syn :) @hannah think like Harry himself. "You[Sage] would do well in slytherin" but at the end of the day, still a Gryffindor

message 7: by Sakari (new)

Sakari Viaguides After reading "The Captive Kingdom", we got to know Sage quite better, and I actually believe him to be sorted into Hufflepuff. He has a lot of Gryffindor qualities as well as Slytherin, but I believe that his strongest qualities are loyalty and valorizing Justice.

Salter Clark Sage/Jaron is SO slytherin

message 9: by Salter (new)

Salter Clark Do not try to agrue with me. He is a slyhterin all the way!

message 10: by AMANDA (new)

AMANDA BANSHER Sage has a lot of slyhterin abilities, he's cunning and resouceful, and has a lot of pride. But on the main house trait, Ambition, he doesn't have it. And when you look at the other houses, he has strong traits from all of them. Intellect, wit, individuality, loyalty, nerve, determination, courage.
"It is our choices ... far more than our abilities"
His motivations/values/choices are almost always more alligned with gryffindor than any other house. He admires people nerve, and bravery, and almost always bases his descions on how he can do what he thinks is right.
And, the author herself said so.
