I fell in love with those women and the connection they formed,and I have a lasting loathing of the Taliban as I see it in your book.They are worse than Germany's Brown Shirts.
While I can never condone or justify the Taliban, it is the way it is. Different cultures sometimes cause feeling of rage or hate. Do they hate the US in part because of the racial discrimination? Because of its history regarding Indians, blacks (slavery)? No idea but I will certainly try to read up on this. Hmmm, another line item on my endless To Do list!
