M. Jermano au contraire ~ I dare to say ~ it would behoove ANY writer to have a Muse (that is, if they're interested in being a success)!

Elisabeth Elo What do you mean by a Muse? Sorry if I'm a bit daft with this. Ive heard the word, of course, but I always think of it as being a man or woman or goddess or something...

M. Jermano eXacTly! That's exactly what I mean...(and if a writer is blessed enough to find a TRUE muse they would discover their muse was ~ ULTIMATELY ~ a goddess! ;- )

Elisabeth Elo I don't think I have a true muse, unfortunately. But I do think that the best part of a book comes from somewhere outside oneself. That it sort of lands on you, or takes up residence in you, and that you have to be able to feel it there and then you have to respect it as the ultimate source/truth/authority--even if you can't put any of it (or the experience of having it) into words. So I guess that's sort of the same thing. But I'd really like to have a goddess...
