Thank you! I did get that vibe but then the junior/senior year at school thing made me think America but I otherwise wasn't sure.
I’m a little confused because my copy of the book explicitly says “here in America”?
Chimaka does say "No legacy here in America" and Devon later says something is being "broadcast across America". Plus medical bills are a pretty uniquely american concept.
Was the American edition edited to be more American-ized?
