It very much is, yes. Pretty much in line with the Shadowdance Series in terms of action and violence.
Shadowdance series was awesome, I loved it. Btw, how many books are planned in this series?
It's a trilogy with a pretty solid ending. There's more I could do with the world, but obv a lot of factors on whether or not that happens, and it's waaaay too early to speculate on that :)
