Isn't the "scripture" from Borders of Infinity a scrap of a page from Pilgrim's Progress?
Enrique started out as a synthetic microbiologist (since he built the butterbug gut flora) his transition to an entomological geneticist always seemed like a bit of a stretch to me akin to a woodworker taking up sculptural steel, but I suppose with Mark pushing you would discover new flexibility.
Enrique reminded me of the science types in my extended family. Smart and focused and in touch with the the near future
