Your work certainly stands up. The characters, the scenes, the quality of writing, the sf or fantasy world-building and details—it's all there. The stories, I like some more than others, that's a matter of personal taste. I obstinately go with my own pronunciation of names, but for Arisaydia I have no instinctive preference, and AriSAYdia sounds OK to me. Bosha is indeed a scene-stealer.
Yes, I'm afraid Grover pronounces her NIkiss, first I long, second short. Having listened to all of the books multiple times I'm unable to pronounce it any other way in my head. Some of his other pronunciations are ... more variable and I can correct them in my head.
Talli: I've still never tried audio books, and now you've given me a new reason to avoid them. When I read a book, pronunciation is all my own choice. For the first time ever, it occurs to me that this is a luxury.
To the OP: don't forget that in addition to following up with Adelis, Tanar, and Bosha, we get to see the orphans again!
