angie Hi Alice,
what a wonderful new about Gunnilde story. I must confess that I'm also are one of those dying to read it! Since you announced it, I have started the count down. In the meantime, I truly loved your Victorian prizefighters and their spouses. Lord Kentingern was such a fun in the initial lack of understanding that supporter bride of him. And clearly I greatly enjoyed Una and Armand relationship. Very smart.
However, could you be lured in any ways to include some female archery in one of your next Karadoc books? Together with falconry, it is a must-have in medioeval romances! I recently saw some paintings and the female archers were very posh, and grand.
Please, take it into account for any of your future books, not necessarily for the Gunnilde one. Well, she could be terrific handing bow and arrows although I don't know what her dear stepmother would think about it!

Alice Coldbreath Hi Angie, thanks so much for your lovely comments. So glad you've been enjoying the books. I too love looking at the old medieval depictions of women! It's fascinating. I think it's a great idea to have a sporty heroine at some future point. I guess the nearest I've ever ventured was Fen's friend Bess Hartleby, who eloped taking her six hounds, two hawks and four horses with her! I will have to give the idea some serious thought! ~ Alice
