Thank you for the quick response! I have the first 2 Baen omnibus editions and will be sure to get the 3rd when it comes out. I've been very resistant to buying an ereader but the Penric stories have changed that and I now have one on order!
You don't actually need to buy a dedicated e-reader; I read on the app on my tablet, or o my laptop sometimes. Though the convenience can be a selling point.

I've done some tablet reading in the past but it wasn't comfortable on my eyes after a while or right before bed. And an ereader will make library check outs much easier, although I cannot be sad that I bought all your Vorkosigan, Sharing Knife, and World of the 5 Gods books before getting an ereader!
I've had a Nook ereader for several years, but my kids got me a tablet last Christmas and installed both the Nook and Kindle apps on it. That's all I use now - love it.
