As a survivor of kidney/breast cancer and bacterial meningitis, I completely understood Will's decision. Illness will cause one to think about the quality of life and how to move forward during a complex and dreadful time. If the story ending with Will not going through with his decision, the story would limit Lou and Will. I've cried for days after reading this book. It's one of my favorite books of all time. Thank you for writing a thought provoking love story
