Yup-- I come up with some of my best plot and dialogue fixes while I run. (Which is why I carry a mini-tape recorder, to preserve all those inspirations. Do you use Voice Memo on your phone?) In fact, we may have run past each some mornings!
Hi Fran! I do my best to write things down the instant I finish my run. There's something about a running idea (pun intended) that tends to stick with me. I got an idea for a whole new book once from a run. And guess what: the book is about running!
