Pardis TD I was expecting MD to have the death penalty, instead the most well-behaved southern states seem to have it... I guess the DC influence is why MD doesn't have it, but so many Asian gangs there, that it's like being in the Philippines or some country where clearly impunity is the main goal, I found that to be unusual, personally, as a European. Thus, I figured the reason is merely geographic, rather than the fact nobody cares, as MD is pretty close to the capital. The other thing is a Tennessee real estate agent told me as I stepped in the US that the coast is safer than the internal regions of the US, and I found that to be true with MD, but I believe again is more because of geopolitics, i.e. Academic institutions are coastal in this area, therefore it is unlikely that you could create a racist kind of mafia on the coast, but in the inner areas is easier, as more rural. In Europe perfectionism is everything, although I have to say that the influence of some thinkers we shared with the US is relevant too, such as Trotsky. Trotsky is the actual father of the EU and of internationalism, otherwise we'd be a third world nation too.

Mirela Vladimira Vladimira John, I find all your stories believable. I wouldn't know where to start naming my favourite. However, The innocent man and Strawberry Moon stuck with me.
