Auj I've been thinking this too, or one of the Marguerite le Pen (sorry I forgot the rest of her name)'s bodice rippers!

Kagama-the Literaturevixen I perfectly understand that it would take some research but felt compelled to ask. ;) Thank you for your reply. BMH did really feel like your love-letter to the bodice ripper genre.

Nenia Campbell Marguerite Le Guen! And yes, it would be fun to write the real Batter My Heart too, but I'd probably have to name it something else or people would be confused LOL.

Nenia Campbell Aww, I'm so glad that you enjoyed BATTER MY HEART! It really was my love letter to the genre because I love the old romances so much and I thought it would be fun to write a character who loved books and wasn't just paying lip service. It would be super fun to write my own too one day! *crosses fingers*

Kagama-the Literaturevixen It really shone through in the book and yes you cant say you are a book lover unless theres like books everywhere lol

Hot Mess Sommelière ~ Caro Well, I would totally read Death Be Not Proud, or another Marguerite Le Guen classic, or any other historical :)

Kagama-the Literaturevixen No pressure or anything,Nenia... haha

Nenia Campbell OMG yes. I am at the level of book-loving where I have filled up all my bookcases and now have piles scattered about the whole house. I'm trying to downsize though lol.
