As a boy, I read whatever I felt like reading, including books that my parents bought for themselves. I know I was reading some adult novels at the age of 9; I had a little diary at that time and noted what I was reading.
Cordelia was a role maternal model for me, as well. Not that I always lived up to the model, but she sure helped me think things thru.
So my daughter (26) is Elli and my son (23) is Miles. We did this totally by accident. Both my husband and I love your books and when we were thinking of names we both settled on these out of our shortlist. Some years after my son was born we suddenly realized why we had liked those names so much 🤣
