I love Myron. I feared for his life during the whole series.
Come on, Audrey - you really thought Michael would kill off someone like Myron?! LOL, he is not GRRM... :P
I wasn't sure how much of a killer Michael was at first. :)
In fact, he is a bit of a killer, as is every fantasy author - i.e., he kills off a fair share of the characters. But only the ones he needs to - not randomly and just for the sake of killing, for shock value (as GRRM does)... ;)
Someone once pointed out that I kill off about 1/2 my characters...when I thought long about it I realized they were right. But it is important to me that each death has a purpose and consequence - so yeah, no capricious death from me.
