That's a very *correct halfway to reply... 🤔 Obviously we know the narrator has changed. When they do or you as an author and owner of said book don't you want it correctly pronounced?? Any new person reading for an audio book should the very least have a list of names and places that are unusual to how to pronounce them?! That's just bad business? Manners? I would die of shame if I left a job done like that!? Like almost all fantasy books have made up weird names only the author knows how to say.... And yes This is very distracting, can be completely off-putting to the point you lay off an author completely because they don't have a care to their own books or fans/readers. It's especially distracting when they say it not just wrongly but manage to do so even grammatically incorrect at the same time. Do you know what I mean lady?! I know all about life happens, that's not it, it can still be a good book. But this very thing happens, for example the Mercy Thompson books changed a very loved very good narrative and it was awful in all the ways. They ended up rerecodring with the original narrator. It's so important and it's such an easy thing to fix before it goes to the south...
