Ok but, IF all the stars aligned could you envision a crossover, something unofficial?
Ngl I'm kinda glad that's his answer. I know there's the whole separate fiction from the author but also Rowling has been up to some pretty bad shit, and the popularity of Harry Potter is what gives her that power. Even if the stars aligned, I don't think it should happen.

@Wendy Bayles JKR has continually been supporting transphobic charities + people for the past few years. One of the first examples is her telling people to follow Magdalen on twitter, someone who called trans people perverted “men who get sexual kicks from being treated like a woman”. Recently, JKR has started calling trans women “trans identifying males”. She’s also made several statements suggesting that trans activists are a danger to women. It’s been incredibly sad to see, but JKR is now without a doubt transphobic.
I guess I can see why a lot of people would get mad at her for that, but I don't hold it against her. We're all entitled to our own opinions as long as they don't cause us to do something bad.
@JessicaPan Yeah, JKR is shit and doesen't deserve all the fame she has but I would love a crossover with Harry and Percy, just them being friends and saving the world, it would be great. Also, @curlyfriesareawesome could you suggest me some crossovers from AO3? I would love to read some of them!!
@Wendy Bayles, that's a fair opinion for you to have, even if I disagree. I do see her opinions as causing harm, since she has a large platform and therefore a lot of responsibility. People look up to her, and that has caused many more to turn towards TERF ideology. Trans people are already a vulnerable group often discriminated against, and JKR is just causing more harm to them.
@Dani I definitely understand wanting a crossover! I would've felt the same several years ago. I still do love fanfic crossovers and wish you the best in finding them <3

there are so many pjo/hp crossovers on AO3, it's one of the best fanfic sites ever. personally, i'm no longer in the HP fandom after JKR's opinions on twitter, but there are a lot of great crossovers on there!
