Tea73 Ooh that's so interesting. I've always wanted to like this series better than I do. And yes the age gap bothered me, I'm glad that in some way it was supposed to.

Laureen Hart So funny! I never noticed the age gap particularly. Possibly because my father was 12 years older than my mother. Like mom says, these days people would have a cow about an 18 year old marrying a 30 year old, but it was not uncommon in the late 40s, early 50s.
