I am about to start volume 3 in Crown of Stars and I agree, it is a very engaging and fun read.
I continually tout this series in my book groups when people are bemoaning not having sweeping epics like ASOIAF. I point out that CoS is every bit as epic and is also finished. Kate is my favourite author.
