It is hard to overestimate how important family and friends are to success. Especially if you are an artist, pioneer or visionary in what you undertake as you have to believe in what you are doing, as you so well illustrated (pun intended.) You sound very blessed.
Agreed! Having someone who "believes in you" can make all the difference.
