This is fantastic advice and I'm going to get started this weekend! I also wanted to know how you got your work past your family and friends? As a self published author, I'm finding that marketing is the hardest part and not my forte! Any advice on getting your writing seen? Thank you again!
For sure. the very best way is to get involved in the blogger world. they are for sure an author's best friend.Sign up to receive their newsletters and comment religiously on their posts. Read a book they suggest and offer comments. The best way to get to know them is to be yourself. Bloggers I've come across are amazing and have great personalities so it is tons of fun getting to know them. This list here: https://twitter.com/Debra_Anastasia/l... is a great place to start. They are all Indie friendly and super amazing to boot!
Speak to other authors in your genre as well. The more they recognize your profile, the better. And don't give up! For sure. Asking questions like you are doing here is a great way to start. XO
