Cindy It absolutely does. I know others have written how I immediately reacted to your novels: they read like fiction...which is great. One becomes immersed into your work. It's so entrancing and not like a stereotypical work of fiction that can be interesting but so sterile. I absolutely love reading your work.

Marita Ulrich Just finished "Dead Wake" and you succeeded in your goal to create a rich experience with "real" human beings. It's what I love about your books.

Shauna You are very successful at your work creating the "so called" narrative history.
I love your in depth research and your writing style.
Thank you!

Pebble Tedford I just finished Dead Wake for our book club....you've made me like history !!!!

Melanie Gauthier You wove so many historical notables in "Devil. . . " that I was swarming the book with mini post-it notes. Will look into "Almost Home" with caution, as today's post-birth "abortions" have already made this stone cry.

Dale Pearl I am currently reading and listening to Dead Wake. Originally added to my to read list back in 2015. Delayed due to life. I have to say that I love the way Erik wraps actual accounts together. He has a unique way to adapt his writing to match the historical accounts. History reads more like a fantastical reading of a fantasy novel rather than the retelling from the real world. Will be an easy 5 star review once I complete the novel!
