John R Naugle Nice answer. Me too. I'd like to explore the worlds created by H.G. Wells' book "The Time Machine". When the film premiered in 1960, my father took his 5 kids to see it (and I was just 8 years old then). Imagine traveling to 1917 and then 1940, and then the year 802,701. It seems humanity is 'on the brink' with AI. I'm concerned about any kind of future --- as many AI scientists have already told us. Google this:

John R Naugle Mc, that's a great reply! I'd be down for that too! In 1960, when "The Time Machine" came to the BIG screen, I was only 8 years old. My dad never went to the movies; his slogan was "I'll wait till it comes to the TV!" But when the HG Wells movie premiered, he packed up all 5 of his children and took us to this movie! I've often wondered if I became an accidental futurist because of this film. Recall what happened... He climbs into his Time Machine, and "George stops on October 12, in the year 802,701 near the base of a sphinx. He encounters young men and women wearing simple clothing gathered by a stream" (the Eloi). And then the MORLOCKS come out. Sheesh. I was 8 and the youngest of us 5 was my lil'brother -- only 2. My dad was a character! SEE wiki-link: "The Time Machine (1960 film)"
