I would LOVE an animated adaptation of Aru Shah! I think it could work really well. Maybe made by DTVA
I think live action is better too:) I don;t watch a lot of animation so it would be nice for live-action
In the case of Percy Jackson, I prefer live action too. Otherwise it should be the Ghibli standard animation.
Some stories should be made in stop motion, which might be my favourite media, but that would fit strange stories like Bulgakovs Master and Margarita, or maybe, like in Captain Underpants, the media could shift for parts of the story, and when a half god went to the underworld, their story would be told in Coraline-style stop animation.
I am looking very much forward to seeing the present live production, though. And a good live rendition is faster and less expensive than a real quality animation one.
