Karl or Daniel? I'm giving every female reader a choice, The men can fit themselves into being one or the the other (or neither, of course!). There are those who fall in love with the dog - I did too.
The book I'm writing at the moment has a dachshund with appealing big, brown eyes, called Bertie. A little boy asked me if his dog could be in one of my books - how could I refuse?
