The Sharing Knife are my favourite books of all time. Since I am 52, and I read an average of a book a day for many years now, that is saying something. I think I have read them 4 times already. I enjoyed your other books too, but these ones just resonate with me, somehow. :)
I really enjoy what I have read of the sharing knife so far. It falls outside of many people's standard definitions though so I can see why it is given short shrift by some. People are sometimes uncomfortable when something isn't within the definitions they want.
The Sharing Knife is one of my all time favorite series.
I loved the Sharing Knife world but I was very disappointed that the resolution of the series didn't address the recovery of that world. Do they fight blight forever? Is there a way to move the world to a more lasting solution? I wanted more
I love the Sharing Knife series too. I got my little brother to read them -- he's not a huge fantasy reader, but he came back with "Those are awesome, d'you have any more like them?"
Do you ever get back to Columbus Ohio?
Do you still have connections here?
I personally thing they should name a library here after you. I sent a letter to the Columbus Public library that the next library built should have a science fiction theme and be named after you.

Since my mother passed away in 2003, I have no connections in Ohio save for a few old friends, with whom I keep in occasional touch.
I did receive an Ohioana Library Career Award in 2007, so Ohio has probably honored me sufficiently.
