Have you ever tried dictation software?
No. Although I am averse, being not especially an aural person, and needing the visual feedback loop of writing the words down in whatever mode. 40 years have made my habits rather ingrained. Also, I don't have enough fingerprints left to do fingerprint pattern recognition security software...

I love the fingerprint bit - I neither take ink well on my fingers for the old style nor can do the fingerprint scanners. Next-to-last time they got a "good enough" scan off of exactly one finger. Last time, the print they got off that finger didn't match the scan they had...
