I LOVED the book, hated the Netflix series! I only made it through a couple of episodes. They made too many changes to a great story!

Same, book was great the tv series want even close to the same I have no idea how they were able to claim it was even an adaptation.
I really enjoyed the Netflix series! It was like getting bonus stories related to the book.
It's the same with every book turned movie or tv series. It is such a bummer that producers like the book but then twist the storyline so much that is isn't the same at all. I don't understand this at all. You don't need to fix what isn't broken. I always get so excited when I hear a good book I read has been been picked up by a production company but I am always terrubly disappointed once I watch it.
The book was so good and the series sooo bad. I guess I'd like to know is why you would allow the series to not even come close to the book?
