Thanks for your great answer. I am very admirable of an author who interacts with his fans in such a way. I'll head down to the local library on Monday to get the books
If I may, I know the answer isnt directed to me, but I too find Stephen King to be an outstanding author and an influence. So its a shame if you dont try at least one of his books. If you don't like things that go bump in the night, perhaps try any of these titles. all write by King and completely different genres.

Hearts of Atlantis
Shawshank Redemption
I agree! It's not only my favorite Stephen King novel, but one of my favorites by any author.

@Princess - Green Mile and Shawshank are some of my favorite books - I've not tried Hearts of Atlantis so I'll definitely move it up on my list.
